Wedding boutiques will have racks of dresses at the Running of the Brides
Brides from all over the East Tennessee area will be gathering at Jubilee Banquet Facility for THE bridal event of the season - the KnoxBride.com Dash for the Dress which is sure to be a blast!
On September 26 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., ten bridal boutiques will have racks and racks of their discontinued wedding gowns and will be selling them at deep discounted prices throughout the event. Wedding vendors such as salons, cake designers, photographers, florists and DJ’s, will also be on hand offering specials and discounts to participants.
The bridal event will be broadcast live and promoted on STAR 102.1, Q 93.1, HOT 104.5 and featured on knoxbride.com.

Jubilee, Where Events Aren’t Just Held. . .

Do you have a special event creeping up on your calendar? An anniversary, a birthday party, or even perhaps a wedding? You can book that room where your cousin had her party, but the food wasn’t all that great. Or you can try an event facility that will host your party and give you and your guests the attention you deserve. That place is Jubilee Banquet Facility.
At Jubilee Banquet Facility, events aren’t just held, they are hosted. When Sharon Morton, the owner of Jubilee, had the vision of opening an event facility, she wanted to create a place where families can come and celebrate the important events in their life. And, to ensure that each event at Jubilee is special, Sharon makes a point to get to know the client.
Sharon said that when you have a role in their life, like hosting their special event, it’s important to get to know and care about them. “Anybody can book a room,” Sharon said. “We become part of their lives.”
Jubilee Banquet Facility has multiple room options for different events. The largest, Jubilee Hall, can accommodate up to 250 guests. It’s perfect for weddings, birthday or anniversary parties. It’s also great for corporate functions or banquets. The room can be divided into two separate rooms for parties up to 100 guests.
Retro Alley is decorated in a 1950’s cafe motif and can easily accommodate 30 guests. This is a great room for birthday parties, especially since it can open up to the full-sized gymnasium. Kids and adults alike love the gym to play games like soccer, basketball, or any imaginable party activity. Guests have access to an array of hula hoops, balls and toys.
The Blue Room is a smaller banquet room that seats approximately 40 guests. It’s ideal for rehearsal dinners or company training seminars.
The Green Room is another small banquet room that can easily accommodate 30 guests. It’s perfect for wedding or baby showers.
All the rooms at Jubilee have access to wireless internet and projection screens. Jubilee has a full kitchen with in-house catering and a multitude of menu options prepared by world-class chef, Greg Austin. The event rental includes linens, place settings and set-up.
